only lvl1 box drops from any monsters(even on Dimensional Barrier). I've got ~14 boxes per 100-200 monsters from Barrier. If you want to get lvl5 box you need to upgrade lvl1 box through grocery merchant in Benon(Vernon, Ertheia Start Village).
All Dimenstional Barrier quests require to kill 100 different kinds of monsters in Dimensional Barrier.
To enter Dimensional Barrier you need to buy 3+ dimensional converters(each costs 100k adena) through Resed. When you go inside you need to choose difficulty of instance by buyng pass from 120 to 2400 dimensional converters. This instance dont have cooldown you need only adena to participate. Only dimensional converters, sp scrolls and uprgrade parts for bracelet drops from dimensional monsters. Also you get exp and SP. Mobs inside Barrier are strong - more than 1kk HP, they have pdef/mdef/paralyze/slow/knockback debuffs.
Drop in instances(Istina, Octavis etc) will be changed: runestones, entry passes, production chests will be added and unbind scrolls, armor and weapon will be removed.
