Didn't know where exactly to post it, so here it goes:

"2. wait until we introduce them into the game - they will be "frozen" until the official announcement"

Well that's for RU/EU and it's know for about a month now. The Sayha talismans promo was on like a month ago on RU servers, and they are coming to EU in (very early) 2018.

Are those items for real? Haven't heard of them before.

That's the Jewelry of the Gods. It's already in-game in China and Japan (the screenshot is from NCJapan):

old stuff and Juji/Neutron have said that for now we won't get those jewels but there's plenty of other stuff they can put in to drain wallets no worries..

btw the screenshot from sock was when they forgot to remove those items at Grand Crusade update :)

After Nc's failure of trying to make a successful MOBA and take a slice of the pie. Do you think they will try to push a battle royale game after the huge success of Playerunknow's battlegrounds?

In the NCsoft job advertisements there is nothing to indicate that the company would be even remotely thinking about Battle Royale Games:
https://recruit.ncsoft.net/korean/caree ... ction.aspx

Apart from one Background Integration Artist for Blade & Soul, a Shooting Action Special Effects Artist for MxM and a Client Programmer for Lineage 2 it's all about mobile/모바일 games.

Servers won't go down in 2018
Servers won't merge in 2018

Oh let me also explain why =)
Take Naia for example, people all across the board are spending coins (their owns or scrolls bought from ncoin buyers) to get +7 +10 or +15++ Cloaks. Everybody sees the benefit of having a +5 or +7 cloak. All PvE monkeys have them, all PvP monkeys have them along side their PvP-type cloak.

All big clans want to control/take down Etina which means cross-server competition other than NA-timezone controlled Dim Server. Which means all top clans (and even every server if people go work together like Koreans do) pump hard to get exp/dmg up. Meaning more and more NCoin spending. NCWest doing smart things like the Black Friday package, the Winter package etc.. All good priced items with passes, cakes etc. that even the average monkey will buy during his 10 days off with Christmas.

With 3 servers doing this, they make more money than DH competing with Max over control of Freynaia.
Player numbers been stable for almost a year now, even alot of returning players that don't seem to be leaving soon because the game balanced out compared to 2 years ago.

It all depends on the San Mateo situation. The Iron Tiger Studios are now one year behind schedule:
http://www.inven.co.kr/webzine/news/?ne ... e=lineage2
(the last paragraph)

I could well imagine that they have come to the conclusion that they just don't have it in them to develop mobile games suited for the Western market. On the other hand, Jesse Taylor is still listed as Senior Vice President, Mobile:

Maybe the current strategy is to sit things out until Lineage 2M is launched next year:
http://www.thisisgame.com/webzine/news/ ... 5/?n=77137
So far NCsoft just gives "2018" as launch date, without any further details about "early in 2018" or "late in 2018". Apart from that, Lineage 2M will certainly be first launched in Korea, and only later overseas. So we have probably one more year where the players of Lineage 2, Aion etc. must be milked to feed the poor mice up in Northern California until they can earn their keep.
