Is it of any use actually? Eva's Saint is not a pole class.

I took master MDef from my summoner subclass. Is there a benefit of changing it to Spirit?

Spirit adds patk/atkspd AND matk/castspeed.

Why would you not want it on any class?

Imho most sub skills for non melee classes suck. I got spirit on my StS. Summoner Spirit triggers the usual Korean Random type when I am geting hits, lasts for 15 seconds and the only usefull it gives me is a bit of M.atk / C.speed. The difference on stats and the duration of the trigger makes it almost unnoticeable.

The only case i can think of that Spirit would really help would be a PvP with an equally leveled / geared / skilled mage where Spirit triggering. A slight advantage on usefull stats (M.atk, C.speed) might make the difference. Not because of a particular boost (range of 7%-8%) but because of adding a little bit on both useful stats which add up and might make the slight difference needed (though not really sure)

The bonuses don't seem to be so great to bother with 3% trigger chance on a class that generally avoids being hit.

Initially, I didn't take it because of overbuff risk. Now, when the triggers are on a separate status row, I wonder if there is a reason to bother with resetting the subclass skills to get Spirit instead of +50 Master MDef (which by itself is not big either, but at least it's constant and not triggered with 3% chance).

Ya unless you pvp, you might not have any use of Summoner spirit. It all depends on how you like to play your char.

Some ppl like chilling in the back, away from danger, I guess.

It increases your m.atk and c.speed aswell, not that it's that useful/reliable since you need to get hit for it to activate and that's not what you want as a mystic

EDIT:
hmm, weird.., i only see those posts before me just now, not when i replied.. o.O

Changing to Spirit will get you a trigger with Increase M.Atk / P.Atk by 7% and Cast.Spd / Atk.Spd by 8% for 15 seconds. As for it's usefulness I really don't know. The only thing I can say is that I see it triggering on my Mage during PvE though I don't get many hits from mobs. During Oly / PvP (which was one of the main reasons I chose that skill) I have never seen it trigger, maybe I don't live long enough :)

Have you actually seen any difference it would give to a healer in PvP?

In what kind of healer PvP does a 15-sec 8% cast speed boost triggering on a 30ishth hit matter?
