It is possible that the developers are just trying to gain time by making those minor adjustments. GM Ishune has announced further steps towards character (i.e. class) balance on June 7:

They failed miserably in balancing the 34 classes before GoD; I can't imagine how they would succed now. The reason is that 34 is too big a number; classes being both unique and balanced seems impossible.
