no damage log makes it hard to tell but it looks like
Retributer:
40523 - 1735
46870 - 1642
48869 - 3881

Dualswords:
23923 - 1401
25141 - 1491
27974 - 1426
27694 - 2806

so Dualswords should do more damage and the magic damage can crit

A Blade Dancer will be good for Yul Archers because at lvl 103 they get Warrior's Harmony lvl 2.
For a Wynn Summoner - assuming that you attack not only with your servitors but also with Marks - the best Buffer will be a Doomcryer because from lvl 85 onward they get the Cryer's Harmony which increases both P.Atk. by 22% and M.Atk. by 40% and other things good for a hybrid class like a Summoner:

That's the problem - as of the Iss Diversification there is no more optimal Buffer class for both Physical Damage Dealers and Summoners.

But if you want to level only one Buffer, I would recommend a Doomcryer. A Blade Dancer gets the lvl 2 Warrior's Harmony only at lvl 103, which you won't reach within a few weeks, and an Archer does enough damage anyway; until lvl 102 a Blade Dancer will be as good a Buffer as now. A Summoner, however, can use any help he can get, and the Doomcryer gets his combined Harmony already at lvl 85, i.e. you won't be under that much pressure to level him up.

In my opinion, Iss Hierophant remained more profitable than other. We can dispute about the case of main char + buffer, but in case full party at some instance or PvP party, Iss Hierophant will be the better choice. Passive skill which reduse cooldown and 101 PoM (for 2 DD after Focebringer part 2) extreamly hight bonus. Harmonis of Doomcryer, Sword Muse, Spectral Dancer can buff for 30 mins, that look like one more buffer than main.
Maybe after launch at overseas FB2 update we find tiny mechanics will say opposite profits...

Maybe you're right. But it also illustrates the issue with L2 at this moment.
Every active Iss is an Iss Heiro. Every archer is a Ghost Sentinel, every Tyrr is a Titan and every Feoh is a StormScreamer.
The balance is gone. The game has 4 or 5 preferred, super effective classes and everything else is considered lol-tier, not in demand or hero-feed material only.
I'm already seeing Iss SwM being completely ignored/shunned from party (matching) because they not having a 'good' 101 buff.

So... after going through reading 22 pages it's time to shoot two quesions:

1) For solo PvE: Mage + ISS Doomcryer + SoS (30% m.atk.) + PoWind ?

2)As of now and the foreseeable future: After you awaken a class, you still get what skill to keep from 3rd class, and which to change to 4th class, or you are forced to learn all the 4th class skills?

Why would you want to combine a Doomcryer with a Mage? If you have a lvl 103 Mystic Muse with lvl 2 Wizard's Harmony, that would be your buffer of choice. Doomcryers with their combined Harmonies are for Summoners.

And yes, a Maestro for example keeps the pre-Awakening Golem. You must make a deliberate decision to learn Berserker and thus remove the Golem.
